On Sunday Oct 9th, Guy Theissen raced the short distance trail (13km) of the Trail du Barrage d’Engreux located in the beautiful Parc Naturel des 2 Ourthes on the outskirts of Houffalize.
Although, being only 13 km long, this race prooved to be both technically and physically very demanding consisting of single tracks (only) and steep climbs forcing competitors to walk on more than one occasion. Guy crossed the finish line in 1h29′ ranked 28th overall out of 195 finishers. Despite this being a rather short but difficult race, it is definitely one to have on your bucket list!
