Powerman Diekirch – Great results!!!

13 members of the X3M Triathlon Mersch took part in the inaugural POWERMAN LUXEMBOURG, which is a duathlon event comprising of a 10km run followed by a 60km bike and ending with another 10km run. The race started and finished in Diekirch with a lapped course taking in some of the fantastic sights of the town and nearby area.

Once again, our athletes showed very impressive results with a national title in long distance duathlon for DAVID CLAEREBOUT and a 2nd podium rank for ANNETTE JAFFKE in the women’s race. Congratulations from the committee of X3M for your achievements!!!

Best overall performance of the day goes to our belgian athlete FRANCOIS REDING, who finished on 5th rank overall with 5:50min back to winner Pieter Rijnders. DAVID CLAEREBOUT took 8th overall and CHRISTOPHER BERNARD finished on good 18th overall. CHRIS DOYLE won the age group M50-54 and placed himself on 26th place.
