Only participant from X3M this time, Gabriel Sardain placed himself on 5th rank at the Juniors/Espoirs race over 6.4km. RESULTS
Chris Doyle amended his personal best 10km time by 1’20” to 38’17” by finishing 404th out of 33000 runners at the traditional San Silvestre 10km race in Madrid. In his age-group M45-55, he ranked 31 out of 3600… Great performance and congratulations from the coaches and the team mates!
On sunday, Nina and Sarah Gorges participated at the 3rd race of the Cross-Challenge Peters Sports in Belvaux. Nina Gorges finished 7th [14:05 over 2660m] in the AG ‘Cadettes’ and Sarah Gorges finished 3th [19:13 over 3330m] in the AG ‘Espoirs’. RESULTS – Cross Belvaux
Two of our athletes participated in the 2nd cross-country race for this winter season. Oliver Gorges managed to take the win in the Minimes cat. (2.14km) out of 25 runners at the starting grid – great performance!!! Carlo Feltes took 2nd rank in the Cross populaire over a distance of 4.22km RESULTS
Carlo Feltes raced the second edition of the Nikloslaf in Esch/Alzette over 6km and finsihed on a good 29th rank out of 109 runners. RESULTS
This weekend, 4 athletes raced the 1st seasonal cross-country run in Rodange. Besides a 6th rank for Nina Gorges (1996/1997 – 2500m) and 6th rank for Gabriel Sardain (Juniors – 4.5km), we are proud to announce 2 podiums for Sarah and Oliver Gorges, both finishing second of their races. Gabriel Sardain will be on the starting line of the 2012 Aguilas ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup this weekend. As he will be one of the youngest participants, the X3M committee wants to wish him all the best to achieve his personal goals.
