Another smashing performance by Olivier Godart at the IM70.3 Dubai on friday. After having quit the PRO-field by end of 2016, Olivier ran his first Ironman-flagged race as an age grouper.
Nonetheless, Olivier managed to keep the professionals’ pace and ranked finally on a very strong 23rd rank overall out of 1425 athletes – and he finished best age grouper overall and won his AG M40-44 in a stunning time of 3:59:08. WELL DONE!
Emiliano Laruccia finished 233rd overall and 38th in his AG M40-44 with an end time of 4:47:01
The IM70.3 was dominated by Javier Gomez Noya (ESP) with an end time of 3:42:21, the female’s race was dominated once again by double Hawaii winner Daniela Ryf (SUI) with a time of 4:01:40.
