Several X3M athletes raced a 70.3 resp. a full distance triathlon this weekend.
Tom Peiffer has chosen to race the inaugural IM70.3 in Lahti [FIN] on saturday. Due to mid-sommer nights, the race has been started at 16h00 local time and athletes were still finishing in daylight. Tom showed a steady performance and finished on 517th position in 5:28:06h [split times : 38:58min for 1.9km swim – 2:41:55 for 90km bike – 1:59:46h for the half marathon]
Leo Weishaar and Luca Seidel raced the Junior Challenge Roth on saturday afternoon with impressive results : Leo finished 7th overall in Youth A category (2005/2006 over 0.4-10-2.5km) followed by Luca on 14th rank.
On sunday, one of the most famous triathlon race worldwide was held in Roth/Germany. Brice Faucheux, Carlo Feltes and Christian Seidel were at the starting line for this 35th edition.
Brice finished in good 10:22:28h on 450th rank overall.
