Extremely successful weekend for our athletes at the IRONMAN Frankfurt european championships. Our 10 participating members took 3rd rank in the international IM triclub ranking. The individual results were extraordinary, thanks to all team members that showed very good performances.
On the women’s side, Anja Dziadek managed to win her age group F35 and rank 9th female overall PROs included!!! Her winning time of 10h07:18 allowed Anja to qualify for the world championships in Hawaii in october. Anja becomes 7th qualified for Hawaii from our team – congratulations!!!
In the same age group, Sylvia Birkle finished in her first race for our team in excellent 10h49:54 on 4th rank and 39th female overall. Anja Rehlinger took 6th rank in F35 and 43rd rank overall in 10h58:00.
In the male’s field, Jérôme Ewen had the fastest race of our contestants and finished on excellent 102nd rank overall in 9h26:53. Thierry Majerus classified 11th in M50 in an end time of 10h05:10, followed by Santi Calderon in 10h43:51, Steve Marx in 10h56:27 and Emanuele Criscione in 11h05:55.
