Nearly 1 year without Ironman branded races due to covid-19 – the starting gun has been given in Dubai for a first 70.3 event for 2021.
2 X3M-athletes were present and finished with very good times and rankings. Oliver Godart finished in 3h58:01 (28:00-2h03:59-1h20:27) to become 1st in M45 and 51st overall in this very strong field with many professionals.
Tom Schmit raced for the 1st time in a X3M dress – he did a very solid race and finished in 4h24:30 (33:10-2h15:09-1h28:42) on 14th in M30 and 133rd overall out of 1110 athletes. Congratulations to both of you!
