Very impressive result by Christian Weyland at the Ironman California/Sacramento. After a fast swim due to high current, he smashed the bike part once again with a 4th overall time in 4h25:47!!! Unluckily, Christian was misleaded on the run segment on the last turning point which cost him 2nd AG rank… Nevertheless, he finished in 8h56:36 on 4th rank in AG M45-49 and qualified for the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii 2024 !!! hoʻomaikaʻi
