This year, athletes faced difficult conditions during the traditional Euro-Cross & Euro-Trail in Diekich – very muddy and wet underground impeded running on this hilly circuit.
David Claerebout, after finishing 2nd at the Cross-Duathlon in Belvaux last weekend, performed greatly on the 12.8km (Euro-Trail) by winning the competition with a lead of approx. 2min!!! It took him 50’44” to finalize his first victory overall. Congratulations from the committee and members of the club! Well done!

Besides David Claerebout, we had some other teammates running this Euro-Trail. Sam Peters, our coach, finished in 59’05” with a satisfying 15th rank overall. Carlo Feltes finished in 1h01’29” on 24th rank overall and Sam Nilles took 1h05’39” to finish on 48th rank out of 123 finishers. Well done to all of you!
