Several athletes aligned at the 3rd cross-country race in Baambësch on sunday. X3M athletes achieved very good performances though.
In the main race over 6980m, Bob Haller showed a very strong performance by taking 3rd rank overall, only 4sec to winner Charel Grethen (CSL) and only 2sec behind ethopian Yonas Kinde (CELTIC). Bob was even taking the lead in the 2nd loop but 800m specialist Grethen was a bit stronger at the finishline. [35 finishers]
In the ‘Cross populaire’ over 4,2km, Christopher Bernard took the win in a fast time of 14:20min. 6th place goes to Claude Lucas and an other Top10 finish for Pascal Duhautpas on 9th overall. Carlo Feltes finished on 13th rank overall, followed by Marc Matgen on 19th rank. [27 finishers]
Emmi Duhautpas finished 8th overall out of 45 girls in the non-timed ‘Benjamines’ (530m – born in 2007/2008) race. Finn Schiltz raced the ‘Scolaires’ age group race (1110m – born in 2005/2006) and placed himself onto 11th rank overall out of 47 finishers.
Well done to all of you!
