Due to extreme heat in Nice [FRA] with temperatures above 40 degrees, the organizer of the race decided to shorten the bike course to 152km and the run course to 30km ‘only’.
Brice Faucheux showed a very steady performance with an end time of 8h50:06 and a 108th rank overall out of 2541 athletes. Brice took 18th rank in M40 out of 456 athletes.
After a good swim in 1h01:33, Brice pushed hard on the bike (5h00:17 – 171st overall) on this hilly course. To conclude, he ran 2h39:17 on the 30km – exhausted but happy at the finish line.
