Alex Weishaar raced the olympic distance Raiffeisen-Triathlon Neuwied [GER].
The swim part is held downstream the Rhine river, so the length of the 1st triathlon segment is adapted to 3.2km instead of 1.5km open water swim. The 44km bike segment is quite hilly and demanding with a positive altitude difference of 420m.
Alex performed steadily and finished on good 57th rank overall out of 195 triathletes and ranked 3rd in his age group.
