Last sunday, Karibu club organized the inaugural Lënster Lycée International School Cross-Triathlon, the first but also last triathlon in 2020… The race consisted in an indoor swim over 200m, a mountain-bike cross ride over 5.3km and a final run over 1.5km. The national XTRI championships were also integrated in this event.
The main race and the national title was won by our athlete Bob Haller, who passed Jérôme Ewen in the final run segment. 5th rank overall goes to youth athlete Leo Weishaar (3rd on national podium for YouthB), Carlo Feltes to 14th rank overall followed by Noémie Ries who won the national title in YouthA. Unfortunately, Finn Schiltz couldn’t finish the race.
In the KIDS-A category, 11th rank goes to Sebastien Hodgson.
Sarah Mousel finished 2nd in YouthC race and took silver medal on the national championships.
