Several X3M athletes took the chance to check their open water swim abilities in Lultzhausen during the national OW swim championships.
On the 3000m distance (33 finisher), Andrea Caddeo took 50:11min to finish on good 11th rank overall. Ben Smallbone (13th with 50:19min) and Noémie Ries (14th overall, 4th female in 50:20min) followed closely. Gullu Evora took 1h18:29 to finish on 32nd rank, just 1sec in front of Emanuele Criscione on 33rd rank for his 1st swim event.
Claude Lucas took part at the 5000m non-wetsuit championship race, finishing on good 11th rank overall in 1h23:27.
