At the IM70.3 Jönköping in Sweden, Claude Lucas set a new PB by finishing on 28th rank overall in 4:23:44h. After a good swim in 28:52min, he kept the pace high on the bike with a split of 2:22:56h. The final 21.1km in 1:26:04h resulted in a 3rd rank in AG25 allowing him to qualify for the IM70.3 World championships in South Africa 2018.
