Several athletes raced the traditional half marathon ‘Route du vin’ in Remich, around 1500 athletes took the start at 15h00 on the flat track between Remich and Wormeldange.
Firstly, best individual results go to our kids – Benedikt Strauss won the MAXI Route du raisin (2005-2008) over 1500m in a finish time of 5:20min net, leading second athlete by 11sec !!! His younger brother Leopold Strauss finished on excellent 8th rank overall in 5:59min out of 73 runners !
RESULTS – Route du Raisin MAXI 1500m
On the main 21.097km, Hubert Strauss (father of Benedikt and Leopold) finished on 175th rank overall (out of 1439 finisher) in 1:32:11h followed by Alex Weishaar on 198th rank in 1:33:52h. Jean-Claude Schmitz finished on 400th rank in 1:42:51h in preparation of the Francfort Marathon. Carlo Feltes took 500th rank in 1:45:44h, Ben Dellucci finished 515th in 1:45:24h net.
