4 members raced the olympic distance triathlon [1.5-47-10km] in the framework of the 3-days event called ‘La Gileppe Trophy Orbea’ in southern Belgium.
Strongest performance of the day goes to Chris Doyle, who won the age group category M50 and took the overall rank 56 with an end time of 2:32:17. Especially his running time of 36:52min for the 10km allowed him to gain nearly 20 ranks at the end.
Pierre Rossler finished on 110th place (with 20th best swim time overall) in 2:39:21. Fabrice Coste improved his personal best time by more than 5min to finish in 2:49:24 on 205th overall.
Finally, Claude Wurth raced his last test before the Ironman Copenhagen in 2 weeks time. He finished on honorable 241st rank amongst 439 finishers in 2:53:31.
