Lux. championships at 30. Int. Triathlon Echternach

TRILUX organized the 30th edition of the international triathlon in Echternach last saturday. The weather wasn’t dignified for this event as it was raining cats and dogs the whole afternoon making the roads very slippery.
Despite a bike crash on a slippery crosswalk, Bob Haller finished the luxemburgish championships on a well-deserved 3rd rank behind Neil Peters and Joe Miller. Our trainer Sam Peters finished on excellent 14th rank, Chris Doyle took 39th position and 2nd Master M50-rank, Emiliano Laruccia finished on 45th rank and Carlo Feltes came in on 53rd out of 115 finishers.
Annette Jaffke, while being in TOP3 in the women’s field, crashed on the bike as well and had to drop out of the race due to a flat tire. Pascal Duhautpas crashed on the same crosswalk and had to quit the race after T2. David Claerebout couldn’t finish the race either due to sickness issues.
